## Aside
Ramble:
First game jam, assets were mouse-drawn in pinta and game was made using C++ && SDL3. Side note: I now appreciate game engines 1000x more than I used to.
When I went stargazing I found it hard to actually make out the constellations due to the stars blinking and the starlight jittering through the atmosphere so I thought it would be a good fit for the "Things Change When You Look Away" theme.
Unfortunately tunnel visioned too much on "Things Change When You Look Away" theme and not the autumn theme :/
Hopefully the "attempt" at ambience with the forest background, cool colors, and cozy BGM makes up for it.
Star positions were randomly generated and constellations were chosen by eye, this took way too long :D.
Things I wanted to add but time constraints (sad): on screen timer (like the fnaf timer somewhat), telescope/zoom, drink warm tea / coldness mechanic (coldness reduces visibility, drink tea to warm up), a victory screen (currently, the game works more like a "timed" "open world" game rather than a full game with an ending), 10000 cool visual effects, etc.
Tired of being forced to use AI at my j*b and wanted a fresh challenge + I've always wanted to make a game.
I do have a CMake setup so desktop versions are available upon request. Source code is also available upon request (WARNING!! disgusting spaghetti mess wasteland, but at least there arent any memory leaks?? I hope??)
